Built for leaders who own the consequences of unseen risk.
Tacilent was built by leaders who have lived in high-risk environments and know what it means to make fast decisions when the cost of being wrong is real.
Recognition
Predict Risk. Turn risk into resilience, and resilience into advantage.
Vision
A world where every organization predicts risk before harm lands, and turns risk into resilience and advantage. Tacilent becomes the intelligence brain every organization starts with: one system, for every entity, across every part of the business.
Mission
To put national security grade intelligence in the hands of the people who own the consequences, at machine speed. We collect, quantify, and forecast risk across every domain, so leaders decide with confidence, act decisively, and defend the call.
The people who owned the consequences rarely held the intelligence.
Ron Johnson spent his career inside the intelligence centers most organizations will never see. As an Army special operations combat veteran, a former FBI risk and intelligence leader who built the program from the ground up, and a builder of covert-operations software for the Department of Defense, Ron watched national-security teams predict and prevent what the commercial world only cleans up after.
Then he crossed into business, leading risk across a $100M-plus P&L inside EY's Financial Services practice. The gap was stark. Private-sector risk management was reactive, backward looking, and fragmented across tools and teams, unchanged in twenty years. The people who owned the consequences rarely held the intelligence, and the intelligence rarely arrived in time to matter.
Ron founded Tacilent to close the gap. He refined the methodology as a Harvard Executive Fellow and a professor of responsible AI and cyber, encoding national-security tradecraft into software and pricing the odds of harm in dollars. The result puts national security grade intelligence in the hands of the executive who carries the risk, at machine speed.
Tacilent exists to turn risk into resilience, and resilience into advantage.
Tacit + Resilient = Tacilent
Tacilent joins two words: tacit and resilient. Tacit is the unspoken risk people sense but never say out loud, too often locked in silos. Resilience is what we build for every organization we serve. The name brings them together, turning silent knowledge into shared resilience. Relentless resilience is Ron's motto, and Tacilent drives the shift from reactive risk management to predictive risk resilience.
Two friends, reunited around one mission.
Josh Bonham is a selfless leader and people advocate who brings the business acumen and operational discipline behind Tacilent's delivery, and exemplifies the integrity at the core of our values.
Ron Johnson and Josh Bonham met as high school friends: two star athletes and leaders. Josh captained the wrestling team, Ron captained the football team, and both went on to play in college. Together they attended American Legion Boys State and won a state pitch competition for Future Business Leaders of America.
Life pulled them apart, and they did not speak for twenty years. Each rose to become the youngest executive in his organization. Josh built and scaled two companies, one to $40M ARR and another to $100M ARR.
When Ron founded Tacilent, Josh became the first investor. Advisor turned believer, believer turned operator, Josh stepped in as Chief Operating Officer, bringing the operational discipline to turn method into repeatable delivery. Two friends, reunited around one mission.
